We have talked to the children about why we wear poppies, and they have enjoyed lots of themed activities. Last week the children made a handprint wreath which was laid at our local memorial on Remembrance Sunday. They have created finger print poppy fields, made poppies with doilies and lolly sticks, practised their fine motor skills with tweezers and pom poms, and enjoyed a blowing activity with straws and tissue paper. They were all amazing, observing the whole 2 minutes silence at 11am and we are very proud of them all.
